While traveling, many usually choose the cheapest accommodations possible. So they can spend more money on other things. This is totally understandable because most of the time, you just spend the night there and not a whole day. But I still like to find accommodation attractive and clean. So I usually don’t choose the cheapest, but the cheapest of the ones that fit my standard. And the ones that fit the budget, of course, this one is usually not too big.
As a big admirer of architecture and interior design, I like to choose accommodations with a great design, that doesn’t always have to be luxurious. It just needs to be interesting. The view is also one thing to consider, but that usually ends up really expensive.
In my opinion, everyone should book an interesting hotel once in a while, because some of them offer a real experience.

Here are 10 of the World’s most interesting hotels:

1. NOTEL – Melbourne, Australia

Situated on a Melbourne rooftop, with access via a secret ‘speakeasy’ entrance, Notel offers guests unique accommodation in chrome airstream trailers. The property features free WiFi and is located in the heart of the city, with a range of restaurants, bars, shopping and sightseeing at your doorstep. This 31 foot, urban trailers are fitted out with their own deck, a lounge area, queen sized bed and en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Each room also includes a free mini bar. Some trailers boast a private hot tub with views over Melbourne city.

2. AUTOCAMP RUSSIAN RIVER – Guerneville, California

AutoCamp Russian River is a luxury boutique Airstream Hotel. Each Airstream unit is furnished with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, a microwave, a sofa bed, a walk-in shower, a dining area, a patio, a French press, and an electric kettle. A private fire pit with a grill and outdoor deck furniture are also available. The luxury tents offer queen-size beds, barbecue tools, an electric kettle, private fire pit with grill, a fan, and heated blanket.
